The District’s Independent Study Program is intended as an alternative for students who with the consent and participation of their parents/guardians desire to learn in a non-school environment.   To be admitted to the District’s Independent Study Program, students and parents/guardians must sign an agreement about the work that will be done and attendance at weekly conferences with an Independent Study Teacher.  To learn more about the District’s Independent Study Program, parents/guardians may contact the Program at 649.3909 or the District’s Student Support Services Department at 556.8921, extension 50131.
