New Immunization Requirements Effective July 1, 2011

Starting July 1, 2011, California requires all students entering or advancing into grades 7-12 to have proof of a Pertussis/Tdap (Whooping Cough) booster administered after their 7th birthday. Students who do not have proof of the Pertussis/Tdap booster will not be allowed to enter school at the start of the 2011-2012 school year. For additional information about this new immunization requirement contact your child's school nurse, or our Student Health Center at ext. 56549.
