Reading Core Curriculum
Grades TK - 5: ThinkCentral is an internet source that allows students access to digital materials from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH), the publisher of our district TK-5 reading curriculum.
Grades 6 - 8: HMH is an internet source for students to access digital materials from Holt McDougal, publishers of the district's 6 - 12 reading curriculum.
High school students will be able to access digital content both from the website above, and their HMH app on the iPad.
Affordable Internet from Comcast
Comcast, through the Internet Essentials Program, offers affordable internet for qualifying low income families. You can find out more about this program, and fill out the application on line at https://www.internetessentials.com/apply
Who is eligible for Internet Essentials for low-income families?
Eligible families must:
- Have at least one child who qualifies for the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or can provide documentation outlined in the ‘Acceptable Eligibility Documentation’ section.
- Not have outstanding debt to Comcast that is less than a year old. Families with outstanding debt more than one year old may still be eligible.
- Live in an area where Comcast Internet service is available but have not subscribed to Comcast Internet service within the last 90 days, where applicable.
